Les élèves de 5e de la section internationale nous ont offert, ce lundi 4 avril, un magnifique travail de jeu théâtral.
Tout le monde a joué un rôle et les petites scènes se sont enchaînées sans faiblir pendant plus d’une heure.

A review by Arthur Rijsberman
A play is always a tricky thing to perform, but when it is correctly performed, it becomes a work of art. And that is the perfect way to describe yesterday’s performance. Yesterday, the 4th April, the 5e International class of Collège Mignet performed “Oliver Twist” before an audience of fellow students.
The play retells the story of an orphan boy, Oliver Twist, who runs away to London and joins a group of young thieves led by an old man called Fagin. And when this play is performed by such brilliant actors as Shaima Golembiewski as Mrs Sowerberry and Alex Sion as Fagin, who kept their calm and recalled all their lines like true professionals, the audience can’t help being seduced.
The play was performed in a large room called the Old Refectory with nothing but two tables and a handful of chairs. The actors had to manage within a limited space and had to jump from scene to scene without pause.
All in all, as limited as they were, the actors went through their play smoothly and performed marvelously. A definite must-see and a round of applause to the actors.
